Keyword Density refers to the total number of specific keywords used in written content. It is considered as a ratio or percentage of the written article or content’s total word count.
There is a simple formula for it. Just count the total number of specific keywords used and divide it with the total number of words written in the content.
Generally, 1%-4% is ok, but 1%-2% or less is best. Always try to avoid keyword stuffing and check your own article's quality as a reader.
